In October of 2025, 11 brave adventurers plunged the depths of fire kasina in Kissimmee, Florida for ~21 days. This was researched by Brooke Schwartzman with Dr. Justin Riddle at FSU doing cognitive neurophenomenology with EEG, and Dr. Marjorie Woollacott doing surveys and interviews. Below are some materials created from that retreat. If note, the “Kisswarts” term derives from a humorous fusion of the name of the town, Kissimmee, with “-warts”, from “Hogwarts”, of Harry Potter fame, and has nothing to do with either actual kissing nor with warts, and the II part is due to this being our second retreat in Kissimmee.
